Whiskey is now TICA Champion
After the TICA show in Denmark, Whiskey was picked up by his new breeder. On August 19, 2024, one night before my rehabilitation begun, I received the message that she wanted to return Whiskey. The handover took place near Flensburg on August 25, 2024. I couldn't see him because the handover took place in a parking lot.
At home, I quickly noticed that Whiskey was very ill. Enormous nasal discharge, fever and he also seemed a bit apathetic. The very next day I took him to the Lüneburg animal clinic. The FIV/FELV test, which I didn't get from the breeder, was at least negative. However, Whiskey was very ill and had to recover for months and be given medication, several nasal swabs, even under anesthesia.
Whiskey will now stay with us forever as a neutered cat, as I cannot keep 4 stud cats. He has recovered very well - a big thank you to the Lüneburg Animal Clinic, he loves his wet food and also likes to play.
